Center of Attention’s competitive dance program offers athletes a dynamic and well-rounded experience that combines the artistry of multiple dance genres with the excitement of both studio and competitions. As the home of the premier HBCU-inspired Majorette Dance program in the Greater Sacramento Area, Center of Attention celebrates the influence and energy of this growing movement, made popular by shows like Bring It. Our dancers have the opportunity to perform and compete locally and nationally, including prestigious events such as the World of Dance in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Las Vegas.
Beyond the high-energy performances, center of Attention emphasizes the rigorous training that develops true versatility. Dancers cross-train in hip-hop, jazz, ballet, and Afro-Caribbean styles while building flexibility, strength, and performance endurance. Through this diverse and challenging program, Center of Attention dancers gain exposure to various performance platforms, engage with their community, and cultivate resilience, discipline, and a deep appreciation for the art of dance.
Tuition starts at $159. Each athlete is required to take at least one Rising Star Recreational class. All classes are available for competitive athletes at a discounted rate.
